Tax season is almost upon us! So, we’ve been running a few quick polls on Twitter to see how organised people are feeling at the moment. The results (although only a small sample!) are pretty interesting, so I thought I would share them with you.
24.1% said that you know exactly how much tax you owe (which is great!). Yet, 24.1% also said that you have no idea or you’re trying to figure it out. Where do you fit on the scale?
Interestingly, 45.8% said that you’re putting aside some money for tax every single month - which is music to our ears , but 25% said they save less often than they should.
Overall, we get the impression that saving for tax is high on the priority list, but a lot of people are still trying to get their calculations right and put sound saving habits in place. We’re currently working on tax vaults - a solution that will help self-employed people save the right amount of money for tax, without breaking a sweat.
On that note, how do you feel about the process of saving for tax?
